Extraordinary location, in the midst of nature, or rural Andalucia. Spectacular views at the mountains and (going up a few steps) right to the sea. Driving to the cottage is, customary for the region, a bit adventurous. By car, it’s 20min to Almuñécar and 30min to the beach. It’s 1,5h to Granada, we think, seeing the Alhambra and the Albaicín is a must. It’s 2,5h to Córdoba, but seeing the Mezquita-Catedral and the old Jewish quarter (Judería) is, we think, worth it. Almuñécar, Salobreña, Nerja and Frigiliana are nice and picturesque nearby towns to visit.The house is well equipped and organized. Excellent wi-fi is available. Relaxing in the jacuzzi and enjoying the mountain view after a day full of impressions is so good, it’s hard to describe … Juan is a very kind and helpful host. Overall, fully recommendable :)Cathrin & Gunter (Germany)
