Refurbished to a very good standard maintaining the coastal theme throughout. Patio sitting area at the back. Enjoy watching local fishermen bring home the daily catch from the picturesque harbour. Try the wonderful coastal walk along to the ruins of Dunstanbrough Castle, an ideal base for birdwatching, walking, touring, fishing and golf. Visit all of Northumberland’s castles and attractions from this ideal base. Shop and pub 100 yards, restaurant 50 yards.

This is a really lovely cottage. The interior is of a very high quality and I think the photos on the web site don't quite do justice to that. The garden room is particularly nice to sit in, and the underfloor heating in there and elsewhere in the cottage is really nice. The cottage owners were very friendly and helpful. Most importantly as I have teenage children the WIFI is very good! Other reviews have mentioned the parking. This was fine - the cottage has access to a dedicated parking space which is one of three parallel parking bays that are quite long (I have quite a big car) and the middle one is not being used currently. If all three were used at the same time it would be a bit tight but even then not a problem. Overall would love to go back! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely small cottage only a short distance from the village harbour and a few yards from the pub. Ideally located for walks along the coast path in both directions. We particularly enjoyed the garden room with glimpses of the sea between the other cottages. The cottage was clean, generally well equipped and had all we needed for an enjoyable week in September. Aidan Cottage was perfectly situated for us in the heart of Craster. Although the village gets busy with day visitors we found the cottage is beautifully isolated and quiet (apart from when builders started up their stonecutters at a house across the way). The cottage is roomier than I expected, the staircase making easy access to upstairs. Excellent new shower with loads of hot water, wonderful bed mattress, good wifi.......which is as well, as we couldn't get a mobile signal in Craster. Parking for one car is nearby at the end of the row of cottages. But Aidan was everything we wanted, well equipped, clean, charming and homely. We would have no hesitation to book again or recommend. Lovely homely little cottage Sun lounge and secure garden were perfect for us and our little dog. Only slight negative is would prefer better pillow on the beds. Thank you we enjoyed our stay and hope to return
