This was our first stay in Peaseblossom House. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated all the little extras, wine, cake and hamper of goodies. Louise had thought of everything with loads of notes with instructions of how to use everything. I would definitely come back for another stay. The house is situated a short walk from Barters books and the castle is within walking distance. We have had a lovely week.

A perfect family stay in a lovely homely cottage in a central location in Alnwick. The cottage was well equipped, clean and homely and the off street parking was never a problem, everything in Alnwick was easy to get to on foot. We had plenty of space and needed for nothing in the cottage, the lovely welcome treats were well received and so thoughtful! We had a wonderful 5 nights here and would love to return. There are so many fantastic spots nearby to visit. I’d highly recommend a visit to Alnwick Gardens, Alnmouth, Bamburgh & Beadnell beaches as well as grabbing a coffee in the quaint Barters Books, right on the doorstep! Some great memories were had, thank you very much to Louise & the team.

Amazing cottage!! So homely with every comfort you could ever dream of. All you needed was your comfy slippers and enjoy the bottle of complimentary prosecco (amongst other treats we had the pleasure of enjoying)! Thank you so much for everything we will most def return for a week next time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stopover in Alnwick and Peaseblossom Cottage was an ideal cottage for our needs. It was like being in our own home with everything we required for a comfortable stay.

We immediately felt at home. It was lovely to have supplies of the necessities e.g. washing up liquid etc. The welcome "gift pack" was also much appreciated. The cottage was lovely and warm and I have never slept in such a comfortable bed, I really did not want to get up in the morning!! The cottage was convenient for shopping in Alnwick and parking outside the cottage was relatively easy. Northumberland is a beautiful county with lots to do, and beautiful places to visit. This was our sixth holiday in Northumberland and if we do decide to holiday there again we would not hesitate to book Peaseblossom House for our base.

A lovely week in a lovely cottage - one of the best we’ve ever had! All the little treats were appreciated! Everything we needed was there. Comfortable, relaxing, excellent central location, both for walking into the town, and for trips around Northumberland. Happy to recommend this cottage.

Perfect location-easy access to Castle and Gardens. Lovely cottage with everything you need from airers to weighing scales! Louise ( the owner) was really helpful and sent a detailed email prior to arrival with suggestions on what to see and do. A great holiday- and weather too!

A very comfortable house which immediately feels like home. Lovely welcome gifts and great information from Louise who has literally thought of everything. Great tips of must see places and beaches to explore. Lots to do in the area - castles, gardens, fabulous beaches, great places to eat and friendly people. Had a fabulous week in an area we've never explored before. Can't wait to go back.

Staying in the centre of Alnwick is great for seeing the castle and gardens. If you want a beautiful beach head for Alnmouth and Beadnell where you will find a fabulous cafe just in front of the church. Visit Craster for kippers and lovely walks.

What a wonderful cottage and equally brilliant owners. The house is a wonderful place to stay just a short walk from the centre of Alnwick. The house is very well equipped, well maintained and cared for yet has a very homely and welcoming feel, unlike many rental properties. The quality of fittings, equipment, furniture and bedding is great. Just what you might buy for your own home. The welcome pack and a personal note from the owners was a great finishing touch. Almost as though you were renting from a friend. The owners set themselves apart from the outset. Not just a one line response but an email full of information about avaibalility, facilities, location and a run down on the area as a whole. You really felt as thought your custom was important to them. This level of communication continued until our return home. We have rented properties many times but Louise and Viv surpassed any service we have had from owners in the past. We would not hesitate to rent from them again.

Visited Alnwick at the weekend for a winter break. Alnwick was just great!Lots to do and really close to some great sights to see on the Northumberland coast. I really loved the Christmas lights, Christmas markets, and carol singers at the market stalls in Alnwick. Had a lovely Christmas feel to it. The pubs around Alnwick were great. Enjoyed an open fire with mulled wine in a great little pub. Had some lovely bracing walks too. Peaseblossom house was a short walk away from everything. Perfect location and was lovely and cosy to come back to. It was even warm when we arrived and had such a nice feel to it for a winter break. Cottage was just perfect with everything we needed and more, and the most comfortable beds. Louise really has thought of everything you might need! As much as we enjoyed the pubs, walks and restaurants, we wanted to spend lots of time in the cottage too as it was so nice. We really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be back. Also looked at Juliet cottage on the walk back which looked great too. Maybe try this one next!

What a lovely house, we didn't want for anything. Centrally located, car parking outside door & everything in Alnwick within walking distance. Loved the fresh flowers & welcome pack. Comfortable bed, underfloor heating in bathroom was bliss. Unfortunately most of the attractions were on winter hours & the tide times not great for visiting Holy Island so it just means we'll have to come back next year - will definitely book Peaseblossom House again.

We rented Peaseblossom House and Juliet Cottage for 3 nights while we visited the area for a wedding. Both properties were beautifully presented with fantastic attention to detail. We were also delighted to find a welcome pack with wine, cake, chocolate and other goodies on our arrival. The properties were a real home from home and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Alnwick itself and the surrounding area are both beautiful - we only wish we could have explored more.

Wanted a weekend break in Northumberland and this was a super change. The cottage is in a great location - short walk to a couple of super pubs, and shops couple more minutes away. The cottage was smart and clean, nicely furnished and simple to park outside for the luggage. Alnwick itself is a lovely market town with a dramatic castle that has a real Harry Potter feel about it. Will book it again.
