"Very nice property, inside and out. In the country."

"Beautiful country setting! Further from Santarem than we expected but very kind and helpful people owner who directed us to some adventures in Tomar! Beds were very comfortable and bedding was crisp n white - very clean. Cute little balcony facing the mountains. Paid additional for a wonderful full breakfast - eggs n bacon , fresh fruit, pastries etc. Lovely owners!!"

"Convenient stopover. Staff were very helpful. Unfortunately the beds were more like single camp beds, rather than the double requested and the pillows weren't good. Worse was that as a service station hotel the main obvious problem would have to be traffic noise, so why weren't the rooms soundproof? Every lorry going past.... Even someone moving a chair in the room above or next door! NOISE. Oh, and that's without the water pipes making a noise throughout the entire night :-( Even the corridor in the non-smoking hotel smelt badly of cigarettes. We didn't find out what breakfast was like because at €6.50 each that's very poor value in Portugal. Intermarche fed us both for under €6. This was grossly overpriced compared to the Pension hotel in Fatima. We should have driven a bit farther."

"Our group of 4 adults had a great stay at this property. While it was a tad tricky to find, Telma helped us through that and warmly greeted us at her charming property. After a quick tour and a few tips she left us with a fresh loaf of bread, some cheese, bottle of her local favorite wine and some pastries. The property was seemingly in the middle of nowhere with views over the local fields but in reality was only a few minutes from the autoroute making it a great base for exploring the area. The garden caught the afternoon sun and was wonderful to come back and relax in after a busy day of sightseeing. If I were to "complain" about anything it would be the beds but they were as advertised. There was one queen size bed and two full size beds. The full size beds were a bit of a squeeze for two people so one couple ended up sleeping in separate beds....but this was a small issue in the long run. The kitchen was well equipped so that we could cook when we wanted but there were also plenty of suggestions available for local restaurants if needed. Telma and her mother seem to have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We would highly recommend this property to fellow travelers."
