"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

"Very well equipped and very clean apartment. Set on hillside within walking distance (10 minutes) from town. Steep on way back but you could use car, we are in our 70’s and not a problem. "This house is the perfect place to stay while exploring Alsace. The location is ideal, in a quiet side street but just a minutes walk from the town center with all the restaurants, shops and sites. "Property better than expected. I am not a smoker so was concerned there would be a smell of cigarettes, but there was not. Apartment is on top floor and has two great terraces. Tram stop into Strasbourg was very close. We used the trams lot and also walked in a few times. The centre was a very pleasant 4km flat walk. Would stay again"

"Dominique’s apartment was perfect for our stay in Gerardmer. It was beautifully presented and had so many personal pictures and ornaments all with a “New York” theme. We would go out in to the surrounding countryside everyday and then return late in the afternoon to sit out in the garden. We used the bikes that were provided to cycle in Gerardmer and around the lake.
