Belmar Spa & Beach Resort

"We really enjoyed our stay at Belmar Resort & Spa. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the beach and everything we wanted to do in Lagos. Our room was incredibly spacious, which made it especially comfortable for a longer stay, and the staff throughout the resort were wonderful—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was a huge plus. It was convenient, had a great selection, and was consistently delicious. It made mornings so easy and was definitely one of the highlights of the resort. The rooms themselves could use some updating and felt a little dated in certain areas. We also noticed ants fairly often, and since the accommodations are apartment-style, it would have been helpful to have easier access to basics like extra garbage bags and other household supplies. Those were relatively minor inconveniences compared with the overall experience. The space, location, breakfast, and excellent staff made Belmar a great choice for our stay, and we would definitely consider staying here again."

"The pool was beautiful; so refreshing. It was lovely not to have to rush to get a shaded sunbed for our granddaughter - there were always plenty of beds and umbrellas available around the pool. Unfortunately, to get from the reception area to our rooms we had to negotiate spiral staircase made of stone. Having to transport a pushchair and carry a baby up and down these stairs was very dangerous and unreasonable. We were very surprised that there was no lift available. We had the same issue when we went to the pool or beach - another spiral staircase and no lift. The quality of food was good and the prices were similar to those in the resort."

"I knew beforehand that the building was literally attached to an abandon building however, it is so close to the beach and the lighthouse walking trail that I decided to book anyways and I am glad I did. We had no problems with any unwanted guest from the abandoned building next-door. That was our concern that we would run into people living there. It was very safe. We were even walking around well after midnight with no problem. The property itself is in great condition and it was very convenient to have a room with all the amenities that we were looking for the man at the check-in was very helpful ."
