"Unfortunately this place is in desperate need of investment. The kerb appeal is very good but the jetty for example is falling into the river and not as pictured. The room wasn't very clean which is a great pity as the owner is very friendly. The food was lovely, we had both Breakfast and evening meals and could not fault them. It just a great shame that it is not as good as it could be. If the owner makes a investment in his property he could definitely charge more to stay."

"We stayed a whole week in the apartment and could not have had a better time there! Bernard picked us up from the train station and welcomed us with fresh coconuts. He and his family were extremely nice, and even invited us to a dinner cooked by his wife on the last day. The apartment is very well decorated and brand new. "Comfortable stay, we were welcomed by Wasantha who checked us in, with a delicious watermelon juice made by Charana. The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful pool and garden area - towels were supplied. The breakfast cooked by Anuradha was delicious - fruit, toast, eggs, tea and coffee. Great value for a very luxurious stay! We would definitely stay here again!"
