"I arrived on Thursday, June 18th (4ish pm) After a long walk from the train station (apparently public transportation is very scarce in Rocamadour) to the hotel, the receptionist was very kind and welcoming. We stumbled through our language barrier (she was very patient with me) and I was checked in and on my way. Before I went to my room, I asked if she would schedule a taxi for me back to the train station on by departure day. She was very accomodating. Better yet, the taxi showed up. It's a great hotel, very clean and spacious room. The bathroom was large compared to those in Europe. No air conditioning, which I knew booking, but a fan is provided and keeps the room comfortable. The hotel is a two minute walk to the Sanctuary. If you are taking the train to Rocamadour....do yourself a huge favor and pre-book transportation to town. You'll thank yourself!!"

"We loved the 3 weeks we stayed in the quaint old house. First week was cold- but firewood kindly provided by Jerry kept us warm- two weeks with very high temp and the thick walls of the house kept us cool. Check in and communication is perfect. We felt right at home, kitchen well equipped, beds comfy and lots of room. You absolutely get good value for your money The village is beautiful and people friendly as goes for the neighbours 100 m up the road. We had our small dog with us and in hot weather we recommend the fountain trail about 10 min away by car a cool and lovely walk 3-4 km.Best regardsBirgitte and Hans from Denmark"

"We only stayed one night but wished it could have been more. Beautiful little stone hotel right in the heart of this beautiful town. We ended up in a huge room with period furniture, huge windows with wooden shutters opening onto the courtyard outside. The lady manager spoke perfect English and was a very interesting person to talk to. 10/10 from us"
