"Incredible views and friendly staff. A great destination for a romantic escape. The resort is secluded, so if you’re wanting to explore - expect to order a taxi as there’s nothing really within walking distance. The upscale restaurants were great, but expect to pay a lot. The more casual option wasn’t very good."

"Room was very clean, I booked a Superior room with Sea View and balcony terrace. My only complaint was that the shower was very difficult to control ie stone cold or red hot. You could only regulate the temp via the hand held head as the rainfall head of the shower was just cold. However i got used to it. The staff were lovely, the dining terrace was very nice and shaded Overall I enjoyed my stay, I ate in the Taverna a few times and the food was excellent."

"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."

"Lovely hotel, clean rooms. Fantastic clean beach shallow waters ideal for the family. Pool is great. The stand out feature is the staff, at the restaurant and pool bar. They work very hard and are very attentive. The food was a high standard. It is a quiet part of the island so great for relaxing. I would recommend"
