"This was a nice newer hotel with good sized room and comfortable beds. There was plenty of parking, and the staff were all friendly and easygoing. Our room was well appointed (we had a suite). My only complaints would be the couch wasn't very comfortable (admittedly it is a hideaway) and the walls did seem kinda thin. Still, it was a really nice hotel to stay at in order to visit Sutter Creek."

"Our stay at the Halcyon house in Amador city was perfect. We were celebrating my 2 granddaughters who just turned 21. The location was perfect..close to wineries, hiking, shopping and rode the rail cars. We would definitely come back and stay in the Halcyon House again!"
