"Came for business, wonderful location by the beach. Quiet and comfortable. The only real downside (which is kind of a big deal) there was no coffee/tea. Great area to ride bikes, fairly safe roads with wide shoulders. Mosquitoes were out of control. Bring lots of bug spray.

Amagansett is a great destination year round. Beautiful gardens and beaches. Small friendly town, very walkable. I was there for a funeral so I did not do any shopping.
