"We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa with stunning views and a good-sized pool. The white road up to the house would be a challenge with a sports car, but with a regular vehicle it's fine; 4WD would be useful in wet weather.The villa accommodated our party of 7 adults and 3 children perfectly, and we could eat outside under the grapevines every day except one. On that day, it could have benefited from a larger table inside.There are two kitchens, but we used only the lower one. It's quite basic and, like some other aspects of the property, a little dated but functional.The host was very communicative, and the guy who looks after the place was ready to help if needed (in Italian only).Overall, everyone liked the property. The only thing to say is that it's probably due a renovation to bring some elements up to date, but once you get used to them, it does not detract from the wonderful place and views.We did not do much tourist stuff, but Sarnano is worth a visit about a 15-minute drive north (pizza, gelati in the evening, market on Thursday morning), and Amandola has a small but acceptable Conad supermarket open all day (about 15 minutes south)."
