"The hotel is very clean and well-restored, and the staff were cordial. Norcia is a challenging visit right now, as the tragedy caused by the earthquake is everywhere you look. Not a lot of tourists around, if any, but since it's historically a bit of a tourist town, there's a bit of a weird balance - I had difficulty meeting people, and apart from the hotel and a sprinkling of restaurants, all of the businesses and homes are currently in a temporary village outside of the old town walls. "This property had everything. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking ware and dishes. The bedrooms were comfortable. Everywhere was clean and well decorated. The hosts were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The area is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. We stayed a month and it wasn't long enough!"
