This is a great central location, when look for the place the name is slightly different to the title on Hotel.com. Ambleside House.

It's not a bad place to spend a night or two but is pretty dated and expensive for what you get. For some reason, no bath towels were provided and instead you get four hand towels. There was also only decaf coffee. All this would be fine if it was cheap, but it's not.
