The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station.

Where do I start? The place is perfectly situated. It’s in the middle of beautiful woods, but walking distance to fine chateaux and ambois itself - a gorgeous town complete wit markets and beautiful architecture and restaurants. The chalet is like a luxury tree house! It has a large jacuzzi underneath the main cabin and sun loungers. The bed is super king and super comfy. Air con, lovely tasteful decor with armchairs etc. a bottle of wine awaited us in the fridge in the compact kitchen. Bathroom a good size and a separate loo. Sitting outside in the trees on the balcony listening to the birds was paradise and I can’t think of a better way to relax. Breakfast provided at extra cost but we chose to do our own thing. The owners are a delight and super helpful with perfect English. We can’t fault this place and will be back. Utterly memorable.

The location was in walking distance and free parking was great. We paid more for this experience than we paid anywhere else on the trip but staying in an old building that smelled musty with very creaky floors was not enjoyable. The bathroom was clean and modern. My sheets were stained/soiled. Stripped the bed and new sheets the next day were also stained. 😱Enough said.

Manoir du Parc is an exceptional hotel. It is a beautiful mansion with lovely high-ceilinged rooms and perfect French decor. It has a small private park and swimming pool. The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect—easy walking distance to the Loire and tourist center without the bustle.

Vue magnifique et jacuzzi privé

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l’une des cabanes du Manoir du parc : entre la piscine et le jacuzzi privé, la détente était de mise. Et quelle vue sur le château d’Amboise ! Petit bémol : nous aurions aimé avoir le wifi dans la cabane. Le prix semblait par ailleurs un peu élevé pour une formule « gîte ». Nous serions tout de même prêts à revenir dans ce gîte très calme et bien situé.

Fantastic private getaway

This was a fantastic hotel. We had our own private jacuzzi and it was very secluded. It seems like you have your own private cabin. The owners were fantastic and very accommodating.
