"The location was amazing - basically steps away from Da Vinci's chateau, and a quick walk down the street to get to a ton of restaurants and shops. House was very cute and comfortable (host wasn't joking about all the stairs though!) - beds were great, A/C in the bedrooms worked well, plenty of space for 2 couples and a kid. Would definitely recommend, both as a comfortable place to stay and a great jumping-off point to explore Amboise and the region."

"L' Atypique was perfect for our stay there in Amboise. The location to the various chateaux was easy to get around and Julien was very helpful with restaurants in the area. The place was lovely, charming, clean and we really enjoyed our stay there."

"Location was amazing. Communication was spot on. Very kind people. Spot was a little loud but it’s a main road and expected. Nights were quiet and you’d get a free frog croaking orchestra in the evenings that we loved! Beautiful sunsets too. Cars do drive by crazy fast though, can be scary at times. But maybe that’s just Europe. Good A/C. Comfy beds. Wished there was a TV but not the end of the world. Wifi was available but it did drop often and had to re log in a lot but again minor...

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Amboise. La maison est grande et bien aménagée. Les photos correspondent à la réalité. Il ne manque que la piscine car nous avons bénéficié d'un temps magnifique...Bien sûre la région est riche en histoire avec ses châteaux, mais nous avons aussi apprécié la visite de l'aquarium de Touraine, le safari Train, et les baignades possibles sur le Cher.Une location et un séjour à conseillé."

"This was the perfect home base for our family of 5 on our trip to the Loire Valley. There was plenty of space to relax both inside and out. Amboise was a very short drive away with plenty of great restaurant options. The chateau is divided between the hosts and renters and the host family was extremely kind and welcoming."
