Beautiful location. The balcony with the room offers great views

The hotel staff were fantastic and super helpful. The bed in room 8 was comfy! The best amenity was the spa facility and the breakfast was super nice too. Many thanks for the dinner recommendation too to the Sagibeiz local restaurant as the food there was very good! The train to and from Zurich was very easy too.

Comfortable stay nestled in a beautiful area with two gorgeous lakes in walking distance. Room was comfortable. Dinner was a bit pricy but good quality and the staff were all very kind. No vale was present to help me with my bags, which were pretty heavy walking up flights of stairs but I guess if I had asked them for help they would have asked someone to come.

Absolutely beautiful location

The location is GREAT on the main road in Appenzell. The staff is super friendly and helpful in suggestion things to do. The breakfast was very good as well. The only to be aware of (which wasn't a negative for us) is the Church right across the street rings its bells until pretty late and again at 6:30 am. They are awesome bells, but very loud. Rooms were clean, air conditioning in the room. Breakfast buffet was great, they had a lot of variety. Staff was awesome and accomodating.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being from the USA the breakfast included items that we are used to having.

Hotel was very convenient to the train station. It is in the center of this wonderful village with lots of restaurants and plenty of shopping. Rooms were very nice the restaurant served a nice buffet breakfast and alson dinner. The bar was pleasant.

Great location. If you are travelling by the Lichtenstein bus from Sargans (Bus # 11). Get off at Vaduz post or stadtle and walk to the hotel (5 min). We had rooms 303 & 305. Absolutely wonderful rooms. Overlooking the street. The back of the hotel backs into the cliff that the castle is on!! Late night revelry kept us awake. Wonderful fans. Great breakfast, but overpriced at 25 euros each. My 11 year old was free.

You can never go wrong with a Relais and Chateau recommendation but this place has it all. Comfortable rooms with a view of the Vaduz castle and the valley toward Switzerland. Enjoyed the Marrée restaurant and the exquisite food on the well decorated terrace. The personal welcome by the Lady of the house made this a memorable experience.

Great hotel

This place is amazing, the attention to detail is unbelievable. The entire building is immaculate, the host greets you with a cordial and candy, discount coupon in the room. Breakfast was fabulous. We enjoyed Tamani thermal which was close. This hotel should be rated 5 star and it was so impressive.
