"Staff was friendly. Very close to American Village and the beach. One minute walk to the beach and two minutes to American village. Property and rooms could use some updating. Room was clean. Not my most favorite stay while in Japan but great location."

"My only complaint is actually probably more with Expedia than the hotel. I booked room for four people. Two adults and two teenagers (Expedia will ask ages so I put 16/17). I didn’t think anything else of it. When I got to hotel though was informed that I should’ve booked as four adults- desk told me that policy is anyone over I believe six (might be 8 years old I can’t remember) is considered adult. Was informed that for three nights I would need to pay for the fee for my teenagers which for three nights ended up totaling around $800 USD. I was flabbergasted- I would’ve never booked the room had I been aware of it. Sure it’s a fine hotel but after fees for three nights my total would’ve been around $2500 USD- I don’t feel like that price was worth the hotel for 3 nights. I will say when I checked out I let them know I was disappointed about the extra fee and was able to get the cost for one teen removed. I ended up paying total around $360usd and they did give us breakfast for 3 days. Staff was great and should be commended. They really tried to help. Another tip for anyone reading this- rent a car. Uber isn’t as accessible here as other cities."

"The woman who managed the property was extremely helpful and friendly. I was checking in the same day that typhoon “dolphin” was passing over Okinawa, and she was still working and even got my room ready early for me so I was not left out in the storm. The room was spacious, and located a short walk to all of the main attractions in Chatan."

"This place is awesome! It was clean and well maintained! Everyone was kind and helpful! They have onsite laundry and it was reasonably priced. There is a full amenities bar with everything from coffee to toothbrushes to razors. Breakfast is extra but it was good and they still served it during the typhoon. They had a couple of American items but there was local food too. I tried a few things I probably would not have ordered on my own. They also have an espresso machine. Just one more additional thing the shampoo and conditioner is sooo good. Definitely going to have to find it for myself."

"From the moment you walk in to the self checkout you are greeted with calming music and a nice aromatherapy. The decor is amazing and the room was so spacious. It is just a short 5 minute all to the beach and American Village. My only complaint is it can get a little noisy outside at night. The check-in check out process is smooth and easy. My friends had a minor issue and it was resolved very quickly"

"Would recommend and would stay here again. Excellent location within walking distance of a Family Mart convenience store, many restaurants, a bank, and major attraction area American Village. Was able to watch the American Village fireworks from our balcony. Located a few streets in from a major road, but located on a very quiet street. We stayed in the 4 bedroom Condo Suite for 18 days with a family of 6 (two adult couples, two grown teens). Plenty of room for everyone, was able to do laundry regularly, cook breakfast before we headed out for the day, and have drinks and snacks at the ready in the full size fridge. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Towels, toothbrush, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, body soap was all provided. All my questions were answered quickly before our arrival. You do have to reserve and pay for a dedicated parking spot if you have a rental car, but was very reasonable ($3.25 USD/day)."
