"Absolutely amazing place to stay! This 100 year old house is like a gem stuck in time! The decor was gorgeous. Host was very quick to reply. It was the perfect weekend get away. Super clean, house smelled amazing, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Will totally be staying again. If your on the fence about booking this home, make like Nike and Just Do It!! "

"The check in process was fine. The gentleman was kind and informative. We arrived in our room on the second floor with no elevator. Not ideal with suitcases. The room was filthy dirty. Dusty on lamps. The floor length mirror had lipstick lips on it and something splattered all over it. The shower curtain looked like they drug it out from under a bed. (Wrinkled really bad). One towel per person (2 people). The tub took 30 minutes to drain (not an exaggeration). Our door would not latch. Thank goodness it would lock. After our first morning we stopped at the front desk and asked for some extra towels, clean the mirror and fix the drain. We came back several hours later and our door was not shut, the red lipstick on the mirror was gone and they took out 2 towels and now left us with 3! We had to leave very early in the morning so decided to just get dressed, stop at the “breakfast” and head out. There was one honeybun, one blueberry muffin and one chocolate chip muffin. (Small prepackaged) enough coffee for 1 and a half cups. Nothing else. This was at 6:30. Pretty pathetic. Needless to say, it’s cheap but lacks cleanliness, safety and security and a simple breakfast. I’ll spend a few more dollars and stay elsewhere. "

"What a beautiful home! It has a great luxe cabin vibe with all of the wood. The home was immaculately clean and was very well appointed. Plenty of clean towels and supplies. We appreciated the 1st floor bedroom for my senior mother, she was very happy there. The beds were so comfortable. My spouse and I live in a very urban area that is noisy with police/fire responses and traffic. We slept so well here with the peace and quiet of this private setting. Communications with the host were great. Messages (text and emails) were returned very quickly. We had a family dinner and there was plenty of space and lots of parking. Lots of seating options indoors and out. We had GREAT weather for our stay, in November. The kids enjoyed exploring the property and especially the teepee. Thank you!"

"This was our second time we chose to stay here while working in the area because it's perfect. Very clean and spacious. Love the big kitchen, it was great cooking dinners there every night. Nice quiet area. Jan is amazing and communicative as always. The house in general is just comfortable and welcoming. It's a nice change of pace from hotel rooms that can feel like you're in a sterile medical room. "
