"This place only has two things working against it from our stay. There were a few issues with cleanliness; hair in the shower, egg on a pan, and crumbs on the kitchen and living rooms tables. Secondly...HWY 10 is close and the noise is non-stop. The good, and there is more good than bad, the place is huge. We had no problem being comfortable even with kids running about. "Only stayed one night but we all wished we had more time to enjoy tubing and kayaking on the river. Great location with public access to the river only steps away from the house but far enough too that we still had privacy. Loved the screened in porch and sound of the small waterfall that was just across the road."

"The cabin was spacious and clean. Had everything you needed in kitchen plus lots of extra little things. Our family of 17 enjoyed the carpet ball, pontoon rides and swimming. A little disappointed that the swimming area for the children was weedy and mucky. We made the best of it and enjoyed the week.Thanks for the great memories."

"location was great - walking distance to everything, access to the chain, tucked back in a bay with plenty of floaties, kayaks, paddle boat and a nice pier. great gathering space - plenty of room for a large group. Would have preferred a gash grill but we made do - convenient fire pit for s'mores and a nice sun porch. "

The location is central to shopping, dining, entertainment and downtown, yet it is secluded from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property itself has everything you would want or need with plenty of room for our group of seven 70 years young grannies. The only downside for older travelers with mobility issues would be navigating stairs to the various levels. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable...
