"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

A welcome beer and homemade lemonade in the garden with my terrible French and the hosts very good English Gave us a great suggestion to eat in Nemeur by the lake Lovely breakfast with homemade smoothies and the largest tea selection I've seen. Highly recommend "
