Dali Guest House was my favourite of the three places I stayed in Amman. The room was spacious, the bed firm and comfortable, and the shower reliably hot. The heating/air-conditioning works very well, which is great in winter. There’s a shared kitchen, which is really useful, and the staff are polite and welcoming. The café next door is a big plus — modern, bright, good food, reasonably priced, and they accommodate food intolerances. There’s also a happy hour midweek. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, and downtown is an easy walk. I wouldn’t necessarily stay for a full week, but as a comfortable, well-located base, it’s ideal and I’d happily stay again.

Dali was the perfect place to stay to explore Amman and the rest of Jordan for us! It's tucked away in a street just off of the bustling but comparatively quieter hilltop of Jabal Al Lweibdeh, which hosts a range of chilled eateries, coffee houses and shops. It's a short walk down the hill to downtown Amman, and not too far from Rainbow street and the Citadel (although those who aren't fond of hills and steps may prefer a taxi). Yassan at reception was incredibly helpful, and was swift to help arrange travel from the airport as well as a day trip to Wadi Mujib and the Dead Sea (which are very difficult to reach by public transport) for very reasonable prices.

Dali House was a wonderful, clean, attentive host for myself and my friend who stayed with them. Yassan was so responsive and helpful, with impressive knowledge of Jordan and the surrounding region. The bar was also wonderful to visit and had delicious food and drinks. Hoping to stay here again sometime!

Great place with honest folk

I have stayed at dali multiple times. For the price it is perfect, and everything is great. This time around, my travel plans got unexpectedly changed in a dramatic fashion. I needed a place to stay, urgently. This would have been the perfect opportunity to pinch me of all my money. And they didn't. Honest folk are hard to come by, and you will find them here.
