Overall, the stay was good.
However, considering the price, we expected a bit more. The carpet and the bathroom could benefit from additional cleaning, and there was no water heater (kettle) available.

The hotel sadly cancelled my reservation while I was heading to it with my family and put me in a very bad situation. They said they are sorry but that did not help me.

No issues during check in. Hotel room is pretty congested. We had asked the reception to book us a ticket for traveling next day morning to Aqaba but they did not. Caused us a lot of delays the next day because of this. And the reception manager was quite rude the next day when we were discussing options to travel to Aqaba.
Likes - stylish lobby and restaurant - better than 4 stars. Room a bit dated but perfectly serviceable, comfy bed, good shower. Great cleaning and restocking each day. Window didn't fully close so outside noise could be heard. Restaurant food ( buffet only for 8 JD) delicious, plentiful and fresh and good value but did not vary much in the 6 days I was there so was monotonous. Complimentary coffee and cake in eve on terrace for "Manager's reception". Reception helped me with my tours alterations which was appreciated..
Dislikes - Hotel has to decide if it is a wedding venue or a hotel. Three weddings every eve on my first 3 nights. Disco on 6th floor blasting out till 11pm and the separate reception on 1st floor with dancing and music belting till 9pm - complained as was excessive. One night had to escape my room and work on laptop in restaurant as music was louder than my TV with smoking fumes coming through corridors. Concierge guy suggested I put tissue in my ears! Guests can smoke in lobby and terrace so cigarette fumes waft strongly into restaurant. You need taxi to get into town and can be difficult to hail one in early morning n hotel can't call one for you or help you hail one. Taxi drivers often try to rip you off by not putting on metre or try to negotiate to charge more so is an annoyance to travel into town each day. Only some staff speak English. Most however are helpful, especially restaurant staff. Check your bill as they duplicated my mini bar charges.
All staff are perfect.room cleenless. Location is near markets

Clean and safe hotel in the outskirts
The hotel location is great, especially if you are with a car - near a big boulevard, with big parking lot. If not, there's almost nothing within a walking distance, but Ubers and taxis can take you anywhere, and they are cheap.
The rooms are spacious, relatively comfortable, clean enough. They would definitely look better after a renovation, but still don't look too worn out. Wifi is good, air conditioning is a bit noisy, but does what it has to - and you surely need it even in winter, because there is no other heating. Working conditions are OK - nice desk, comfortable chair... a few more power plugs would be great, because you have to turn off some lights to charge your computer, phone or camera...
Service is friendly, however I still have an issue with a small overcharge that spoiled the overall feeling, but nothing tragic. Just check your booking price before paying.
