Anne was an exceptional staff member who has great knowledge of Amsterdam She knew many places to explore and how to get there with ease. I would stay there again. The location from Amsterdam Central is the best, a 5 minute walk. The hotel is on a nice quaint street where you can sit on a bench with morning coffe and watch the boats go by on the canal I sat there often

The team is wonderful the facilities not so much

They advertised rooftop, that was not a rooftop. Bed is hard, they advertised pillow top, non of that was there. 2 sad hard pillows, the blanket is thin and bad. All of it is sad. But the breakfast was nice and the staff were very nice and professional. Just the facilities could use a makeover

There are better options

Very tiny and awkward room design. The staff is friendly and approachable, but the housekeeping was lacking. Great location. Complementary coffee and hot tea available throughout the day. Free croissants daily for breakfast. But the rooms are uncomfortably small and not very clean. For those reasons I cannot recommend it.

Nice hotel, my room was a bit small but still ok. Cleaning wise the room we quite clean but there were some stains on the bed cover and you could see a bunch of dist below the bes

Fabulous location. At the end of the street is a canall, dining options and the area has a great vibe. Lots of streets to explore and close to the Dam Square for walking tours. Not far from Anne Frank's house and Centraal Station. A great hotel and location to start my trip in Holland. Mitti (I think thats right) on the,Reception desk was exceptional. After a 30 hour flight from Australia he was so helpful and welcoming. Thank you City View - a great stay.
