Hotel very clean in a nice area, nice bars and coffee shops close by, and 15 minutes walk from the train station. Only concern was the stairs in hotel were very steep, stairs were about 5” deep half my foot size. Room clean stocked with towels shampoo soap ect and kettle tea and coffee.

Wonderfull boutique hotel situated closely to the Central Station ~15min walk Nice room and quiet. 2 small points of attention: 1: warm water when showering is not really warm 2: luggage to be carried up and down narrow stairs (but the staff will kindly help you) In short: great stay for a visit to Amsterdam

We enjoyed our stay immensely - great location, friendly and accommodating staff, lovely room and an incredible herbal tea provided. We felt really looked after with coffee and pastry vouchers. We had an amazing speciality coffee each morning with a cheese and mustard croissant (incredible!). We also dined downstairs in the restaurant which was very ambient, the food was thoughtful and memorable - so much so, we had to order 3 desserts! Again, lovely staff and an overall great experience.

I stayed two nights at Calisto. Lovely and lively area, great location, walkable to city centre and Westerpark. Got an upgrade to a bigger room:) which was located directly above the restaurant. I’m a night owl, so I didn’t mind the noise which stopped when the restaurant closed and still on time for a good night sleep. Hope to come back next time!

The Hotel was a challenge since we had to go up stairs that were essentally like climbing up a ladder. However, the owners were very helpful. They carried our luggage up and down. They even came in to help early in the morning. The area included a great Spanish Restaurant where we were able to celebrate our friend's birthday.

The room was very clean and comfortable at Hotel Callisto. The staff was courteous and helpful. The manager even carried our luggage up to our room and brought it back down when we were ready to check out. He gave us directions and offered helpful advice. The stairs were very steep. We were on the top floor so it was quiet at night. It was a memorable Dutch experience.

Our room was on the second floor, up some pretty scary steps lol. It was small and perfectly formed. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the heat worked nicely (it did get chilly in the night so we turned it on and warmed up quickly). It was obviously an older building but they had modernised it quite nicely, so all the modern amenities with rustic charm. It is also very conveniently located - 15 min walk from the station, 5 minute walk to Noordmarkt and another 10 mins or so to Jordaan. The restaurant was packed, but hoping next time we can eat there too. Definitely will stay here the next time we come to Amsterdam :))

Staff were friendly upon check in, brought our luggage up to the room while we explored before check in. Complimentary vouchers for the coffee shop next door was a nice touch but we only recieved 2 days worth for our 3 night stay after being told we would receive one each day. Stairs are steep so it could be a barrier foe those with mobility issues. Overall we were happy with our stay.
