First Time in Amsterdam really enjoyed the city my room was perfect for one person. The hotel is ideally situated in the center near the train station perfect if you want to explore other areas of the city. Really appreciated the possibility to leave my luggage after the checkout to enjoy the city before leaving

The amenities were very basic, no coffee maker, safe, etc. in the room. However, they clean the room, make up the bed and change the towels every day. The location was very central, just across was the Amsterdam Central Station, at the end of the street was Dam Square It was also a pleasant surprise that breakfast was included. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The only really reason I didn't rate it as excellent was the lack of room amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also Dona who oversees breakfast was wonderful.

The location of this property was excellent, right in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff is friendly and the place was unique and quaint. The breakfast included was basic and nutritious, certainly appreciated. All in all a nice experience. The room I stayed in had a jacuzzi bath which was great. The bed itself had seen better days, the windows were not fully blinded so let in street light. The major downside though was the amount of late night noise due to the location of all the bars and local pedestrian traffic.

The best things about this hotel is the location and the staff. Great location in the old town near the train station and Dam Square. The staff are terrific, especially Roel who managed to find me some ice. Please, Koopermoolen, invest in an ice machine-since you do have vending machines. The room (a single) was tiny but I got used to it. Why isn't there a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang a nightie? Breakfast is nothing special, but adequate. The room, however, is depressing. All in all, for the money, it was a good buy, just don't expect amenities.

We would have given an excellent review instead of GOOD, but the rooms were very warm due to outside heat wave. Laura was outstanding in providing us with a 2nd fan an d then went out of her way to ask another couple if they would like to ride share on our next morning to the cruise terminal. Hotel breakfast was very good. Hotel is basic, no phones in room, no lotions in bathroom, no blow dryer, but very clean. Rate was great and location to Dam Square is perfect. Lots of canals to walk around.
