I cannot say enough good things about the incredibly kind & accommodating staff. The rooms overlooking the canal are absolutely stunning, and the blend of history with the updated bathrooms are a delight. The close proximity to Leidseplein public transportation is phenomenal. We had a single-night layover in Amsterdam, and we were so upset to only get to spend one night in this wonderful hotel!!!

very convenient location, breakfast was good, staff very nice. Our room was on the 3rd floor and choices were a very noisy lift or very steep flights of stairs. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken. Everything else was fine. It was very clean and staff came daily to clean.

Great location, a 10 mn walk to the Reijkmuseum. Very clean and the staff friendly and efficient. Pay attention that there's no aircon. For the price, a very nice place.

Comfy bed, functional no frills. Really conveniently placed. My room was quiet. Pillows bit soft but I am confident if I had asked for more they would have accomodated me. Didn't do breakfast, Albert Hijn supermarket close and many options. Be warned, this is normal in the Nederlands, very steep narrow stairs. May be a cosideration. Enjoyed my stay.

This was the best $93 hotel I ever stayed in. The location is great, the rooms are clean, and the check in was easy. The hot water sucks, but for $93, I’d have taken a bath in the canal!

The staff here is amazing. The kindest and most helpful people. The place itself is alright, comfortable beds, mid pillows, cleaning came most days (they make beds and replace towels) but randomly skipped one.

Room was nice and clean, unfortunately the room was very small for a twin not sure how you would manage if you had two large suitcases. There are two buildings and the second which we stayed in needed updating, old worn carpets and corridors needing a coat of paint, not at all like the images. The same goes for the room and bathroom. If you struggle with step stairs not a good hotel for you. Great location to see Amsterdam with good access to the trams and easy to get to from the airport. The other building seemed to be much more modern and more like the images. Only way to describe is a upmarket hostel

Great location. Staff very polite . Room was very big . Bathroom and beds very clean but the rest of the room was quite dusty . Bathroom very small , if like me a bit on the larger size it would be a struggle . View was awful . Never the less it was a pleasant stay.

This is a great option if you want a view of the canals but don’t necessarily need a lot of space. Spent very time in the room but was great. Conveniently located near the tram stop’s and restaurant’s and shopping is a short walk across the street is any direction. Great affordable find!
