Our stay was quite alright. However, for some unclear reason we hade to change towels and take out the trash ourselves the first night. Got back to normal afterwards. Location is great though

This hotel is lovely. It is close to the train station and the sights of Amsterdam but also quiet and a little removed from the busyness. The room was so comfortable and clean. Will definitely return here.

Great place

This was such a lovely place to stay! I had never been to Amsterdam before and was trying to find something nice (and affordable) for my partner’s birthday the weekend we were there. This hotel is in such a good spot- close enough to the red light district but not too close, and adjacent to some really lovely areas. The staff were so kind too- when we had an issue with our bathroom they came to fix it straight away with no issue and on my partners birthday put a bottle of champagne and cake in the room!!! It was absolutely fantastic and if (when) we come to Amsterdam again, we will absolutely book to stay here again.

Very bad experience in this hotel, toilet overflowing in the bathroom and spilling on the carpet. Water cut off in the hotel until midnight and visit of a plumber at 23h00 in our room with big noise and smells. The staff did nothing to offer us bottles of water. Not impressed with the speed of fixing the water problem , which is essential in a hotel. Serious plumbing problems

Great Location and Clean Accommodations

Friendly and welcoming staff met all my expectations. Breakfast was very well done. Although no A/C it was in the 60s and they provided a fan. The window opened as well.Room was very small . My main complaint was the horrible rough tattered towels which had to be 20 years old. Absolutely fabulous location and walked to everything with the room overlooking the canal.

Tiny rooms and bathrooms so small you can even dry yourself with a towel after shower. Very hot rooms so the balcony door has to be open at night - but don’t walk in your sleep because then you’ll risk falling 3 floors down as there was only a thin piece of metal between the open door and the alley. Where trash cans was placed which you could smell in the room.

Great property except that my room was freezing even with the heater on 5. I slept w a toque and 3 blankets. Heater on wall at top…heat rises, heater doesn’t heat room. Would stay in warmer months not winter.

It was just ok. Very convenient with walking distance from the Centraal Station. Very friendly staff and accomodating. However, the rooms are VERY small. As a solo business traveler (carryon only), I would probably not stay here again because I barely had room to store my bag. I would have no idea how someone with a larger bag or even 2 people could stay in 1 room. It also was very hot, no A/C, fan didn't do much. No bars on the window so couldn't leave the window open over night as anyone could've just jumped in. Bed was comfortable however 1 pillow case was dirty. Shower in room flooded the bathroom so had entire stay using bathroom in water. Overall for the location and staff this is an ok hotel but if I had any other choice, I probably won't stay here again.

The hotel was clean and modern; the carpet looked new and the bed was comfortable. The room was quite small - we could only put one of our suitcases in the main area as that’s all that would fit, the 2nd suitcase had to go in the entry way of the room. The shower came complete with a squeegee for what we assumed was for the floor, as there was no separation between the shower floor and the main floor of the bathroom, so the water pooled everywhere and needed to be squeegeed towards the drain. The view of the canal was fantastic and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We were only there for one night so it was perfectly fine, but a lengthier stay in such a small space might’ve been a bit of a challenge.

Comparado a outros hotéis de mesmo custo e considerando que fiquei em um quarto econômico, que é mais barato que os outros, é uma boa escolha. A localização é o ponto forte, de frente pra um canal e perto da estação central, o que facilita ao chegar de malas a pé. O café da manhã é honesto, vale a pena comparado ao preço pago em qualquer café de Amsterdã. Voltaria.
