I absolutely loved the room and the old time charm of the elevator. Everything was clean. The staff was amazing! Had a noise issue but they took care of it right away and really care about all their guests! I would definitely recommend staying there and will be back in the future.

Super convenient if you are into the more cultural museum area. Fairly easy to get to the red light district as only two stops on the metro. The staff at this hotel made it. Very friendly, extremely helpful and very welcoming.

It was great, super clean, and comfortable. The staff are kind and helpful. The location is great Just notice that you have to pay a 100 euro deposit, but they will refund it next day you leave.

Convenient location.

Location was nice and convenient; room was fairly spacious for a solo traveler but the lift doesn’t go up to the 4th floor so if you have a lot of luggage this could be problematic. The stairway is quite narrow as well. The shower, though it works, was really small and difficult not to get water everywhere.

Great Place to Stay

The staff was incredible. They went out of their way to make my stay positive. The single room is small but functional. I did have a nice view. Breakfast was good with many options and they made me breakfast to go when I left early. The location is very convenient to public transport, including the bus to the airport at Schiphol.

Walking distance to museums

Very clean hotel close to Museumplain (Van Gogh Museum and Reiksmuseum) with a good breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Room and bath were very tiny though- and no hotel lobby or sitting area , no extra frills . Fine for a night or 2 in Amsterdam.

Everything about this stay was great. Daily housekeeping. Coffee/tea/kettle in room. Great big window for fresh air. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The only thing to note is that the elevator stops at the 3rd floor; so if you get a 4th floor room then you will have to go up one flight of stairs. Great location. Overall great value and stay in Amsterdam!

Great location for a budget hotel. No air conditioning but a fan was provided. If window was open, you could hear some traffic. Staff were very polite and helpful. Tram on the corner. Only negative was the hard pillows. They took some getting used to.
