"It was awesome. So many nice touches, nice design, well-maintained. Restrooms and showers were very nice and kept very clean. Lots of nice amenities in the tiny cabin, in the shower area, in the common fire pit area. Beautiful setting and very chill. Check in, check out, and nearly every other aspect of staying there was very easy and smooth. Pool and drive in theatre looked great, too, but we arrived too late take advantage. We would definitely stay again and for more than a single night."

"This is a very comfortable place from which to explore a very special landscape. The larger rooms we've always booked (this was my third time over 25 years) are comfortably furnished - think very oversized motel rooms with one king and one queen bed, a reclining chair, a table, and access to an outside (shared) terrace or balcony with a pair of comfy chairs over which you can gaze out to the spacious grounds and glimpses of the extraordinary landscapes just beyond. It would be nice to have screened, operable windows to take advantage of the evening air and silence the hum of the air-conditioning in temperate seasons. A nice unusual touch is a washing service - give the front desk a load and pick it up later the same day for a modest fee. Food five nights a week is available in the main dining room. It's the best restaurant for hundreds of miles in any direction, based on my own travels and the assessments of may guides and websites. For other meals and other days there's a friendly food truck with picnic tables. Menu choices are limited. Coffees are good. The oatmeal-molasses toast that accompanies eggs is great. Our eggs were too salty, though."
