We needed a place to spend one night that wasn't over $300 during tourist season so this was great. They had comfortable beds and a great breakfast with scambled eggs, hashbrowns & sausage. They also had toast & cold cereal & milk as an option. It is an older motel but met our needs nicely.

Not a modern hotel, but I like supporting the local families. We felt safe and it was quiet. The shuttle was always accessible, staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, and breakfast was better than average (with eggs, sausage, muffins, toast and jelly). The downside to breakfast was eating on a folding table or couch in the small lobby. I would not have a problem staying here again.

When driving in to the property I was concerned that it would not be safe. It’s close to a jail and a soup kitchen, however I was very satisfied by this hotel. Staff let us check in early which was great because we had just gotten off a cruise and had a ton of luggage. Not the newest or prettiest but clean and comfortable. Towels were the best I’ve had in years

Freezers for our catch. Great! Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms clean but could use some updating. Try for rooms away from main road. Noisy. Window locks were broken, ground level room. That was not comfortable for leaving things or sleeping. Chinese restaurant next door, excellent food.

The room is probably the dirtiest room I have ever staid in, stained dirty looking carpet, dirt on top of the AC, rusted shower curtain rod, and much more. But everyone was helpful and friendly, and the shuttle service and breakfast were nice.

This property was clean and adequate for my purposes. It is not in the best part of town Across the highway is the general aviation airport (Merrill Field). A few blocks away is the prison. on one side of the motel was an adult novelty shop and on the other, an Asian restaurant. Didn't try either one, so I cannot comment on them. Breakfast comes with the room, and it was pretty basic, but the coffee was really good. The desk staff in the morning was a new hire, and he was excellent at giving directions and making suggestions about what to see in Anchorage. We were in a non-smoking room, but there was a slight odor of tobacco smoke that was not covered up by the cleaning chemicals. Only stayed one night. It was a good value considering we were there during tourist season.

the rooms where very clean, but the area around is not so good, to go to the centre of Anchorage you will need about 45 minutes by walk one way, but it is a good point for activities, but it will be better, to rent a car, because bus station is not near and the bus don't go very often
