"We were picked up at the airport by their shuttle. This was extremely convenient! The room was cramped, but clean. They offered complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby. The poor night auditor was stuck working past the end of his shift 2 days in a row (poor guy), but he was VERY personable & cheerful to talk to! I believe his name was Chico. He definitely deserves a raise!"

"We stayed at the lodge on our first night in Alaska and the last two nights of our trip before heading home. It has a very quiet and welcoming environment with several places to relax outside of your guest room (i.e., upstairs and downstairs lounge area, outside patio on the second floor that overlooks the front yard with a hot tub, and an outside gazebo with a fire pit.) The breakfasts were different each morning that we dined and were delicious! We stayed in two different guest rooms, and each room offered a tea set with biscuits, so you could enjoy teatime in the comfort of your room. We absolutely loved our stay here and could not recommend it enough!! The lodge is a short drive to the airport and a very short drive to Flattop Mountain hiking trail."
