"We enjoyed our stay at 101 Esino. It was conveniently located <5 min walk to the train station and beach access. We were traveling without a car, so it was a trek into Ancona via foot (we could have taken the bus or train). Would be a fabulous location with a car to explore more of the Marche region. ..."

I thought Ancona, Italy is the perfect destination if you're looking for a low key, inexpensive vacation with access to high quality service and food. The Marche and Abruzzo wine regions are an hour away -- which are btw, absolutely delicious.

Diocesan Museum and Archeological Museum worthwhile to visit. Also the Cathedral.
