"We loved the breakfast. Lots of variety and great quality. The room was spacious and bathroom was nice and private which seems like a rarity these days. The air conditioning didn't really work and we weren't able to get another room until the next day at which point we were exhausted and didn't feel like moving. We used a portable fan provided to us. The only other glitch was not having a take away breakfast provided early when we requested it because the front desk staff entered it on the wrong day so we got a couple not great sandwiches given to us. Aside from that, service was mostly good. We almost didn't love being directed to a self service kiosk to check in after a 30+ hour overseas trip. Something to consider as it didn't feel like a choice and it should be. We did enjoy our stay overall and the train station and other transportation are extremely convenient."

"The property was well located, clean with comfy beds. Breakfast was pretty good, although cappuccinos were an additional charge which was unfortunate. However, the hotel is very dark- lighting in the halls are low, the walls are brown and the lighting in the rooms was dim. When I mentioned this to hotel staff when they asked how my stay was, they responded the hotel is intended to be dark. Maybe it is suppose to be moody, but a bit too moody if you ask me. I was there in August, I can only imagine how dark it is come December."

"Perfect spot for the solo traveler! Rooms are simple and clean, shared spaces are well stocked and well maintained. Location is also convenient as it's a 5 minute walk away from various public transit."
