"Hard to appreciate how idyllic the location is, until you arrive. Expectations were high - but they were exceeded. Fabulous accommodation, great location ( 5 mins to bars and restaurants) and hosts were first rate. We had a local transport problem and our host helped to sort - above and beyond. We hope to be back."

"Patrizia was just amazing!! So kind and accommodating! The place is absolutely stunning, and offers great privacy if you’re travelling with a few families with kids. The main house has two bedrooms and then there is a detached house with a room with a queen and on suite and another double room (queen in one and two singles in the other) which may only be available upon request/depending on how many ppl you are. The sixth room is accessible only from the outside by pretty steep stone steps. Therefore it’s appropriate for an able bodied adult (or two). The room has a queen bed and onsuite! All bedrooms were air conditioned and super comfortable! No air conditioning in main living area! Also, in August, because of the lush gardens, there were mosquitos. Bring repellant! The area is super cute with cafes, restos, piazza all in walking distance!! We absolutely loved our stay!!"

"The house was in a lovely location but was very tired. Worn paint in the kitchen and a broken glass cook top. It is very small, no living area and only one air conditioning unit in the hallway to service the whole house. This means you have to sleep with all bedroom doors wide open in order to keep cool at night. We had a problem where the very bright outdoor lights were on an auto timer until at least 3am every night and without shutters or adequate curtains made it very difficult to sleep in brightly lit up bedrooms. I asked daily for this to be addressed and it sadly was not, despite being told every day it was.The biggest disappointment to me was arriving and having to make all of the beds up myself. We were left only sheets, no blankets and one pillow each. Having paid extra for the use of sheets and extra for cleaning I would have expected to at least have the beds made up on arrival.The outdoor area had not been cleaned and they don’t provide any cleaning supplies, even to clean the kitchen bench so I had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean myself.Overall the house, anmenities and complication of all the forms, extra charges (you pay extra for electricity too) were extremely disappointing. I’ve given it an ok rating because the location is very lovely and it was great being so close to the sea.It felt pretty unloved and not at all like the lovely styled images on the website"

"This is a lovely villa for a family holiday. It’s beautifully decorated with a wonderful pool, gardens and lots of space to relax. We enjoyed strolling into Diso and going to the local shop, pizzeria, cafe and restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and it was a very peaceful place to be. "

"What a wonderful villa and great hospitality, thoroughly recommend a stay at this very special place. Ideal for touring the Salento region but also perfect for a day enjoying the super swimming pool and the trulli whirlpool then enjoy a delicious supper cooked by the villa’s private chefs. "

"We were a party of 13 comprising 3 separate families. Beautiful villa in fabulous location in centre of town which was a hidden gem with numerous excellent restaurants and a huge market on Wednesday mornings. Great base for exploring the area and lots of different spots to sit and hang out including a delightful terrace. Maria was extremely helpful booking restaurants, organising a chef for one evening and recommendations of where to visit. We were very sorry to leave. Our American friend even took photos of the arches to show her builders doing her house renovation in the States! "
