Fint overnatningssted i Gavrio hvor færgen fra Rafina lægger til. Gavrio har gode indløbs- og spisemuligheder, og der er ikke langt til en god strand

Gavrio, petit port agréable

Nous avons aimé cette île moins fréquentée par les touristes étrangers que les athèniens. L'hôtel Ostria est idéalement situé non loin du port et à proximité de plages. Le camping à côté offre la possibilité d'une bonne salade grecque autour de sa piscine.

Could be better...

Difficulty to access the place - too many steps and dark streets too small for 4 people and only 1 bath/toilet we did not manage to access their WiFi the owners tried to make it easier - they were very helpful and they drove us from town at night and to the port in the morning (free of charge)

Value for money accommodation in Gavrio

Quite nice accommodation in a walking distance from the island's main port. Cleanliness, polite staff and comfortable rooms make an ideal choice for couples and families!

Ostria hotel / Gavrio

Definitely not a place where to spend your vacations but confortable and clean enough to spend a night or two. We had one extra day and night to spend on the island and this hotel was ok. The only negative point is the proximity of the gas station and the breakfast area.

Andros - island hopping stay

Great, friendly check in. Loads of useful information about the island. On busy road from the port - take care if arriving on foot. 250m up hill. Great beach 800m further along the road.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο έκτος από την τουαλέτα που ήταν αρκετά μικρή. Σχετικά παλιό αλλά δεν ενοχλούσε ιδιαίτερα αυτό. Ίσως μόνο θα ήταν καλό να ανακαινιστούν τα κουφώματα γιατί ακουγόντουσαν τα αυτοκίνητα από έξω και έτριζαν λίγο τα πατζούρια από τον αέρα. Η υποδοχή πάρα πολύ καλή, ευγενέστατοι όλοι και εξυπηρετικοί. Μας επέτρεψαν να πάρουμε και τον σκύλο μας στο δωμάτιο, πράγμα πολύ σημαντικό για όποιον έχει κατοικίδιο.

Ευχαριστη διαμονη σε ευρυχωρα ,καθαρα δωματια.Το σημειο που βρισκεται το ξενοδοχειο ειναι πολυ βολικο για εξορμησεις στο νησι και επισης διαθετει ανετο χωρο parking.

jolie vue sur la mer mais léger bruit de la route

Hôtel bien situé à la sortie du village, personnel accueillant et très gentil. Petit déjeuner correct sur une agréable terrasse face à la mer. La chambre avait un balcon et donnait sur la mer, magnifique, le seul bémol : les vieux matelas inconfortables.

Ok för vidare till andra öar

Rent fint hyfsat pris för att fortsätta med färja nästa dag. Inte så mycket restauranger hittade en fiskrestaurang längst bort i hamnen

Παλιό, ασυντήρητο με υποτυπώδη καθαριότητα

Οι εγκαταστάσεις του ξενοδοχείου είναι παλιές και παντελώς ασυντήρητες. Ο εξοπλισμός του δωματίου ήταν σε άσχημη κατάσταση και στα παράθυρα βρήκαμε σφηνωμένα, από προηγούμενους επισκέπτες, διαφημιστικά φυλλάδια για να μην τρίζουν από τον αέρα. Η καθαριότητα υποτυπώδης. Οι πετσέτες και τα σεντόνια αλλάζονταν κάθε 3 ημέρες. Το καλύτερο που μπορώ να πω για το πρωινό είναι ότι ήταν λιτό, τα λίγα προσφερόμενα είδη, δεν ήταν τοποθετημένα σε κάποιο πάγκο αλλά ήταν αραδιασμένα στην μπάρα του μπαρ. Το προσωπικό ήταν "κουρασμένο". Τοποθεσία βολική. Τα περισσότερα δωμάτια (κυρίως αυτά που βρίσκονται στον 1ο όροφο έχουν θέα στη θάλασσα.

Total disappointment

We arrived at 8,30 pm and the receptionist showed us the way to the room. The lock was unscrewed and we fighted with the key to take it off the door and then gave another fight to lock. The next day I informed the reception about this and he told me he would check it. In The evening when we returned to the hotel he told me that the lock was fine and functioned perfectly. In my dissapointment the lock was still broken. When I went to take a shower there was a frightening noise from inside the wall and the water supply Obviously the plumping needs to be fixed. The cleaning staff only took the rubbish out and just folded the upper sheet. Needless to say that the room was dirty. They had left a broom and a mop so that we could clean ourselves. Thank you very much. In the balcony there was no wire to leave our clothes to dry and the 2 chairs and the table in the balcony were so dirty that I didn.t even think to touch my towel to dry. The cabins of the small kitchen provided was hunging and the tap spread the water allover me everytime I tried to wash my bathing suit.The breakfast which was included in the price was really poor and the price crazy for the hotels facilities.

i will never go there again!

This hotel is made with the cheapest materials. cheap furniture, cheap tv, cheap closet, cheap fridge! everything is cheap. the breakfast was less than basic and eventhough the room had a sea view it was very noisy due to the nearby road. the bathroom was terrible, old and it didnt look so clean.
