Happy Trails: Modern Cabin in the Woods, One Level Home, Easy Access

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin has been completely remodeled for your comfort. It's a rustic cabin from the outside with modern comfort on the inside.

This is a rare one-level home with easy access and a flat circular driveway. This house sits on a beautifully wooded lot and boasts a large deck with an outdoor eating area, including a gas grill.

The home has a well-stocked and updated kitchen, a large dining table, and a living area perfect for relaxing around the easy-to-use gas fireplace. The smart TV is perfect for gathering the family around to watch movies or your favorite shows.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a tv with Roku, it's own bathroom and has a door that opens to the deck. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the third bedroom has two sets of twin-over-full bunk beds. The bunk room also has a TV with Roku for the kids. The full bathroom has a walk-in shower.

There is a washer and dryer included and also a large garage with plenty of space for the ping pong table. High-speed Fiber Optics Internet makes it easy to stream your favorite movies/shows or keeping in touch with the outside world.

This is a dog friendly home (WITH PRE-APPROVAL) and has a fenced in outdoor area for your well-behaved dog. (Pet deposit is $150. Please inquire if you plan to bring more than one dog.)

This home is located just minutes from all that Angel Fire offers – great skiing and snowboarding in the winter and North America’s best Mountain Bike Park in the summer. Tee off at the gorgeous Angel Fire Golf Course. There’s also hiking, ziplining, boating and fishing, and so much more! Angel Fire is an all-season resort for mountain adventures! Also just a quick trip away from the local grocery store and restaurants.

Awesome cabin

Within minutes of town and the slopes. Would highly recommend. The cabin is very clean and has everything you'd want. Fenced area for your dog. We will be staying there again.

The cabin is amazing. Great location. Very clean. Heat works great. Lots of wildlife in the area. Water pressure was super awesome in the showers. Great for families.

Christmas Trip

Enjoyed having a white Christmas. Our 5 yr old granddaughter loved skiing for the first time and the warmth of the fireplace. She commented that it was the best place ever.

Cozy Cabin

The property is very nice. We enjoyed are stay a lot. The back porch is fensed in and the neighborhood is quiet. Low traffic. We do recommend this cabin.

Great Cabin

This was our second time staying at this cabin, we loved it even more the second time! My dogs love the fenced yard, I love the peace and quiet, and my husband loves all the fishing spots in the area. The weather was beautiful. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Happy Time at Happy Trails

We took our granddaughter to Angel Fire to play in the snow and had a great stay at Happy Trails! The house was warm and cozy, very clean, and stocked with everything we needed. It is in a good location, very nice neighborhood, and easy to access. We will definitely choose this great place when we return!

Lovely mountain retreat.

Great property with lovely forest views, access to trails and close to town. Beds were all comfortable and area for dogs was safe and the perfect size. We stayed for a week and will definiteley be back! The hiking and mountain biking in Angel Fire are amazing so dont think this is only a location for skiing!

Great Angel Fire Cabin

We stayed for 5 nights over New Years Eve. Our party of two families of 4 fit very comfortably with the double bunk beds. Property is very clean, close to the resort and well stocked. We did day trips to Taos, Santa Fe, and Red River and it provided a great base. Snow was minimal, but we did ski one day. Really enjoyed the cabin. Thank you!

Good location

We enjoyed our stay in Happy Trails. The owners were quick to respond when needed. We enjoyed the “one level” home very much. The location is excellent to grocery store, golf course & resort area. Thank you for letting us “camp” there three weeks!! We have avoided the Texas heat for sure!!

Delightful Home

From the moment we drove up, we knew we had chosen a wonderful place. The neighborhood is surrounded by gorgeous woods and other lovely homes. Everything inside was comfortable and very clean, complete with quality linens and perfect space for two couples. There was even a bedroom we didn’t use. Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, but the home was the best for hanging out and visiting. We would love to use it again for the Fall. Communication with host was superb.

Texas Heat Escape

Inside is comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and stocked. Beds are nice , only used master. Living room furniture could be arranged a little more user friendly. End tables behind the couch and not very useful. Exterior is okay, back deck is okay. Grill was good. The small fenced in area for dogs is nice. The front porch deck could use some pressure washing and this would minimize some of the tracking into house when it rains or is damp outside as often times the mountains are. House is on the corner next to main road. Sometimes a bit noisy but quiet in evening and at night. Garage is accessible but my truck would not fit. No big issue. All in all would rate at 4 of 5 stars.
