"A really lovely hotel located in La Fortuna and within easy walking distance to the central square and surrounding bars and restaurants. Parking outside was useful as we had a car to access all the nearby attractions. Room itself was clean, modern and comfortable and there are shared kitchen facilities available too. Great communication. Would recommend this hotel."

"The property is just a 2 minute drive from La fortuna its in an excellent location that offers both peace and quiet as well as access to great restaurants and activities. The on site amenities are excellent including the restaurant. The hotel staff is attentive, helpful and very responsive. Id recommend Casa Del Rio to any couple of family in La Fortuna! "A beautiful property with very friendly staff and a wonderful on-site restaurant! They provided a complimentary upgrade as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. There were white-faced monkeys playing on our deck which we enjoyed. We highly recommend staying here for part of your Monteverde experience!"

"The rooms are large and beautiful with an amazing view of the volcano. The lush garden and the nice pool make it perfect to relax after a day full of fun activities at La Fortuna. The bathroom and shower are luxurious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast just a 2 minute walk to the neighbouring hotel is decent, enough to fill you up for the morning, and you can bird watch as you eat, as you are surrounded by nature. There is also a nice restaurant (soda) just around the corner. We loved our stay there. "
