"Property is located just outside of the square in La Fortuna and gives “white lotus vibes”. We did go in their off season but felt like we had the property to ourselves. Loved being able to message on WhatsApp and immediately get a response. Breakfast each morning was great! Would recommend! "

The property grounds are beautiful and the restaurant patio is to die for. Not spending every single morning sipping coffee from that restaurant patio would be a mistake. "The hostess was extremely helpful to me. This was my 1st time in Costa Rica & I felt right at home. Of course I would have preferred the pool to be up & running but the view, being surrounded by nature, fresh bananas off the tree, breakfast every morning, privacy while on the property, gated entry made me feel safe & I was fortunate enough to have a personal driver for 3days to take me all over, from the mountains to the ocean made my trip absolutely priceless! Definitely worth the money!"

"La comida de los restaurantes con reserva excelente pero el bufet deja mucho que desear ya que los platos no están bien elaborados y con poco sabor. La atención del personal excelente, fue lo mejor, siempre amables y atentos. Al menos en mi habitación habían una cantidad muy grande de mosquitos (mate al menos 30 - 40), otros insectos pequeños y hasta una pequeña cucaracha. El baño no olía bien, y la puerta del baño deja pasar toda el agua cuanto uno se baña por lo que hay que secar todo el piso luego."

"Our first night was ok. The AC unit didn't work very well but it stayed cool enough to sleep. The 2nd night however was not good. The AC unit stopped working all together. Went down to reception and they brought up a small air cooler but it wasn't working either and the maintenance guy said he was going to tell his boss what was going on and would be back. After 30 min he never returned. I went down and talked to security and the security guy told me that the maintenance guy had told him if I come looking for him to let him know that he had done all he could that we just needed to report it in the morning. That didn't help that night when the room was. 86°. Fahrenheit and no AC. What really set me off was the guy saying he was going to talk to his boss and would be back and then just leaving because it was time for him to leave and not even bothering to come back to tell us anything just left us sitting there. That's unacceptable."

"Splurged for a nice hotel for a few days in La fortuna. This place was wonderful. Great location a few minutes out of town but still restaurants and things to do nearby. This is a beautiful property with lots of wildlife and a peaceful river you can walk down to. You can see the volcano clearly from the pool and front area. Feel more like a resort than a hotel. The staff was very attentive and they all remembered my name. Great breakfast as well, I would stay here again and will recommend it to friends. "
