Originally built in 1930, this typical Weinviertel house was renovated with great attention to detail in 2012 and the attic was converted. The Schlafgut Küssler is characterised by a beautifully designed and secluded inner courtyard, a sun terrace and a rustic wine cellar, a cosy parlour, a well-equipped kitchen and five bright and friendly feel-good rooms for 10 people. It is equally popular with day trippers and long-term holidaymakers as well as business travellers. On the one hand, it is characterised by its cosiness and genuine hospitality in combination with our winery and wine tavern, including a unique 300-year-old vaulted cellar and our own, often award-winning wine production.
On the other hand, due to the excellent location, as the Schlafgut is situated in an extremely quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of Austria's oldest wine village - where wine is at home. This place is nestled in a beautiful landscape with extensive vineyards and the almost unspoilt March floodplains. And all this just over 30 kilometres from Vienna and 40 kilometres from Bratislava. The Schlafgut is also particularly popular with cyclists, as it has not only been recognised as a cycle-friendly hostel, but is also located in the middle of an extensive cycle network. For golfers, there are also 2 large golf courses in the immediate vicinity.
The accommodation is often rented for the perfect relaxing holiday - completely undisturbed in the midst of loved ones or business friends and surrounded by vineyards and excellent wine. The Schlafgut is also ideal for seminars and private holidays.
