"It’s a motel next to a lake with the focus on the road weary traveller. One plug for a faux electric fireplace, TV and fan. It was chilly last night but I couldn’t figure out how to fire up the fireplace? I felt safe though and though the place is dated 1960 something it was clean and I slept well. "

"My partner and I stayed here for five nights over the Christmas holiday. In addition to being clean, safe, and private, the staff were extremely hospitable and professional. While my husband was working, I enjoyed the on-site spa services and delicious dining menu at the Clau Clau bistro. "Simple yet with all I needed, Not overdone as a home might be. I am rating the Blueberry Cottage, btw, The one I booked wasn't available so I got the other they have for the same price. This is why I only gave 4 stars to the accuracy of the listing, I didn't see the cottage I originally booked. The beach and water are pristine, perfect for kids. And there is wilderness hiking nearby. I'm planning on returning, possibly with my grandchildren..Oh,Ron is a great hose and Felicitas' bread is...

"Luc and Louise were such wonderful, helpful hosts. The Crooked House had everything thoughtfully considered for the comfort of the guests - from the welcome package in the fridge to just how well equipped the property was. That it was so close to the beach and the water slide was such a plus for my kid. We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful town, mostly because of our comfortable stay and hope to return!"

"Quite comfortable in the tidy room. The only comment I have is: When I went to office to complain the slow flow of hot water, they said that they were doing the laundry, causing the slow flow of hot water. Wanted us to wait for 30 to 45 minutes. However, even after an hour, the situation did not change much: It had hot water coming out, but stopped not for long!"
