"Fantastic location. Was remarkably quiet when I was there in late May. Comfortable room with great views from balcony. Friendly reception team. Food very good. Bar staff were fine, but seemed to lack confidence, especially when not speaking on their own language."

We spent five nights on Terceira Island and didn't get to do all we wanted to. The weather was unpredictable -- cloudy, sunny, some rain, etc. So you need some time. The town is a gem.

We love Angra do Heroismo. It is a very walkable city with lots of cafes, bakeries, culture, and beautiful scenery to appreciate. We will definitely return to Angra do Heroismo.

Make sure to go to the museum and garden up from the main square. At the top of the hill there's a monument with a wonderful view. The museum is in an old convent. A must see.
