"The property was very centrally located for girls 2 night wine trip. The room was very clean and appreciated the extra pillows that we had requested. :). My friend also tried the extra pillows. She said she never slept so great and she’s gonna do that at home- (I do it due to medical reasons). The staff was wonderful, just very personable, and very accommodating (I always bring Sees candy and facial masks/cleansers for the front desk staff … some can’t have candy). I’ve been in the travel industry for many years, and they work hard. - Kindness goes a long ways… Our room was on the 4th floor city view (the wonderful front desk person changed our room to the other side due to construction on the street). Extremely kind of her to think of this! Loved the free coffee in the lobby. and it was good and strong, except for one morning was very light and weak- not sure, but we went back later and it was good and strong again! The lobby was beautiful, The candy to go bag .. what a sweet touch! —- even the bathrooms in the lobby extremely clean for the amount of guests that we’ve seen come and go. My compliments to the housekeepers and maintenance staff & the front desk. Hands down, I will be returning to this hotel, and next time we will make it a spa weekend. Thank you, Archer. It was 5 star, top grade stay! B"

"We had an apartment with kitchen, living room and balcony and it was very convenient for us. We loved the 25m long pool which was great for swimming, the gym was also extremely well equipped!"
Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa

"It was a beautiful old restored property. Loved the big jacuzzi tub in the Mission Spa suite. I felt we should have been able to do the geothermal pools for free due to paying $800/night for the room. We didn't have a four poster bed as advertised in all the photos and the room seemed smaller. Spa pools closed at 8pm which was much too early for us. No free breakfast, was just a lot more money for less amenities than we experienced in our hotel the prior night which cost 60% as much. Could be a more memorable experience ti make it more personalized. I called ahead letting the hotel know we were celebrating a double birthday and they did put some flowers and chocolate in the room which was nice, and the man at the spa was very nice to us and gave us a discount due to the fact that we only had 30 mins to go in the spa pools and the valet parking guys as well let us park for free overnight. I'd say the staff on site were very friendly and helpful but the sales team reps and the people I spoke to over the phone/the corporate Fairmont system and pricing for this hotel made it overpriced for the value we received. We still enjoyed ourselves but it could have been better."
