Great hotel for family getaway

we had a fantastic time in this hotel though we only stay for 3 nights but the experience is great. The location is great and accessible if you want to go town areas located just next to expressway. The reception area ambience is inviting you will get a good vibe the first time you step into their hotel. The rooms are fantastic though at night time if the window is open its a bit noise because of the plane passing through. But the hotel room cleanliness is excellent though a bit small for three adults. The toilets are also clean and the overall surrounding are just good to look at. The mountain view from the balcony is fantastic.There free breakfast is also superb, tasty and a very good meal.They have few facilities such as tennis court, indoor wall climbing, etc though we didn't get the chance to try it but looking from the outside it's a great family location and outing if your into sports. I can say that the hotel leave up to its standard as a for star. I can really recommend it and of course we will definitely back if we're going at the same area.

Great for Families

We stayed for one night at the hotel in a family room (Junior suite). The room was very spacious and comfortable, except the sofa bed in the sitting area which was quite lumpy. We ate in the restaurant which was excellent, as was breakfast. The staff were lovely and so helpful. And the play area was amazing, especially since the weather was not great.

The ‘junior suite/family room’ was nothing short of a self catering apartment meant for staff. Tucked away from main hotel and next to kitchens so noisy and smelly. Not a ‘Junior Suite’ and very unsatisfactory. We cancelled and changed hotels as no other rooms available.

Great hotel with an amazing view

We planned a family break. The hotel was extremely comfortable and we were presented with a clean and very well laid out suit. A small amount of modernising wouldn’t go amiss but all the same it was very good. The soft play was excellent fun for our 5 year old. Ask for a room on the front of the hotel for best views of an amazing mountain.

Pretty good hotel. The one big complaint was it did not have A/C (whichus disclosed upfront). There are room fans but they do not give out much air at even the highest settigs. The hotel should invest in some ceiling fans with at leadt 5000 cpm. That will make a world of difference

Lækkert sted

Virkelig dejligt sted med masser af spændende faciliteter, pæne værelser og god service. Klatremuren er imponerende og tennisbanerne er velholdte, restauranten har åbent længe med god mad og høflig betjening. Men det er den lille naturlige svømmepøl med guldfisk samt de mange former for wellness tilbud, som gør at vil vende tilbage næste gang turen går til Alperne.

The room i stayed in, which i believe represents the rest of the rooms, had no ac. It was a hot room exposed to afternoon sun. Sleeping was a lot more sweaty and difficult than it should be. Staff are friendly but their English is below expectations. This may be a nice hotel to stay in during colder days.

Positiv: - das Hoppelino ist im Hotelpreis dabei Negativ: - das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen - keine Klimaanlage auf den Zimmern - Preis/Leistung der Suite (Watzmann) ist sehr schlecht Erfahrungsbericht: Obwohl es außen nicht brütend heiß war, hatte es mehr als 30Grad in der „4* Suite“, die vorhandenen 3 Standlüfter, zerfielen beim Versuch sie zu verstellen, einer ging gleich gar nicht. Ein manuelles Lüften unter Tags ist nicht wirklich möglich, da genau über der Terrassentüre 2 Wespennester sitzen. Das Inventar ist alt, abgewohnt und teilweise schmutzig ( z.B. die Couch). Die Matratzen sind ebenfalls schon lange durchgelegen, der Duschkopf hält nicht länger als 1 Minute in seiner Halterung, ich musste das schmerzlichst feststellen. Die Mikrowelle lies sich ebenfalls nicht in Betrieb nehmen, ich könnte ja noch lange so weiterschreiben :-(... Uns wurde zwar eine andere Suite für die 2te Nacht angeboten, aber gleich mit dem Hinweis, dass es dort auch nicht anders sei, daher haben wir es dann gleich gelassen, uns den Aufwand des Umziehens mit 2 Kindern gespart und die Zeit in der Stadt verbracht. Frühstück: Auswahl so lala, das 5min Ei sah eher nach 20 aus. Die vorhandene Butter war teilweise schon mind. 11 Tage abgelaufen (und da spreche ich nicht von 1 oder 2 Stück!) Die Halteriemen der Hochstühle sind mehr braun als weiß... ...kurz und knackig: schade ums Geld und das Hotel sieht uns nicht mehr, auch kann ich es nicht weiterempfehlen.

Die Lage zu Autobahn war für uns ausschlaggebend. Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel leider etwas alt. Ein Handy wird angeboten, besser wäre jedoch eine Klimaanlage oder zumindest Fliegengitter an den Fenstern gewesen, bei 30Grad Zimmertemperatur hat der Ventilator auch nichts gebracht. Der Bergblick ist sehr schön, leider nicht in der Watzmannsuite. Diese ist leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Sitzgruppe mehr als fleckig, alte Klebereste an der Badezimmertür, die Betten total durchgelegen. Das Zimmer wirkte länger nicht bewohnt. Haare und Fusseln im Bad, eine tote Wespe im Zimmer. Frühstück solide, wir waren den ersten Morgen gegen 10 Uhr essen, da war leider nicht mehr von allem etwas da.

It was in a beautiful location just outside of Saltzburg. Michael and Eva, staff at hotel were absolutely fantastic. She helped us unload and spent the time giving us the inside scoop on how to make our trip into Saltzburg easy. Instead of trying to find expensive parking in the city, we took the bus (simple!). Couldn't be happier with rooms, view of the Alps and service. Needed hot water pot, extra pillows and coffee cups. Michael made sure they were immediately provided. Hugs all around when we left. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

The amenities are great! My son loved Hoppolino and the spa was really top notch. The building is an older property, and our particular suite hadn’t been completely renovated yet. But the views were incredible, size of the suite amazing, convenience to salzburg- perfect with a car, and you can’t beat the price. Will be staying again!

Had a wonderful stay in Salzburg. Momentum filled the bill for a relaxing stay. We had a car, so the free parking was a real plus. The balcony on our room opened up to a very impressive view of the mountains. The breakfast was great with great service. The hotel is only a few miles from the city center. Happy travels

Very good location if you travel with car and want to stay out from city. Super quiet location, beautiful views. Located near highway junction letting you a fast exit to a lot of destinations around Salzburg. A lot of activities for kids of all edges: playgrounds, tennis climbing walls, trampolines.
