"Overall, the best part about the hotel was the staff. They were super kind and accommodating. The parking staff started to recognize me and would be quick to get my car from the garage. I was disappointed that when I first arrived my room was a little dirty. The bathroom counters had soap marks on them and there were some dirt marks on the walls. I was worried about the area after reading several reviews and I wouldn’t recommend walking to the restaurants or shops after dark but it wasn’t as bad as the reviews I read described. I will say that there are other hotels in the area that might give you more for your buck but this one was definitely a safe choice. I was disappointed by the size of the gym. It was important to me to have a gym with equipment and weights, which this one was lacking. "

"It is classic hotel with large rooms, wooden floors, a lot of stuff that keeps the hotel clean and repairs when necessary, great breakfast. Great menagers, especially George, who gave us better room. We also stayed the next day and payed acceptable price for longer check out. Now the guests are usually much younger and they often do not care of appropriate behaviour. And not much can be done about it. "

"We had a late arrival and early flight and wanted somewhere central to see a few sights and easy exit to the airport at 4am. The rooftop Hyper bar/restaurant was so cool with it’s vibe and view of the acropolis we just relaxed and spent the evening there. The woman in reception was amazing and set up transportation. We exited the elevator and our driver was waiting to take us to the car. Perfect stay. "

"We had a short stay at the end of 2 weeks in Greece and Coco-Mat Athens BC was perfect. Wonderful, friendly service at every step — from the person at the door to reception to the people who made and served an outstanding breakfast. They even accommodated a 4 a.m. departure for the airport with a packed breakfast to go. The room was a little on the small side but the space was used efficiently, and we liked the layout that included separate vestibules for the toilet and shower. Also, a great location — close to the Parthenon and the museum, and to dozens of shops, bars and restaurants."
