"The breakfast was good and had a nice variety. The view is beautiful. The room was nice with a large bathroom. The only thing not perfect was my dinner. The risotto was under cooked, but the flavor was terrific."

I’ve traveled a lot and for a premium hotel experience there is no place I’d rather go than the Kempinski In Berchtesgaden. Be nice to the staff and you will be rewarded. I’ve been here a few times and will be going back for a longer stay next time. Only hotel in the world that my wife and I don’t want to leave. "

"This hotel is in a very beautiful area. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains and the room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was great and included in our stay. There was only one restaurant on site and you pretty much had to get everything from the restaurant such as any snacks, wine, etc. That would be my only knock on the hotel. It would have been nice to have a little market nearby on the property or at least a vending machine. Otherwise, we have no complaints whatsoever. Great place."
