"We have stayed at many VRBO's and have never found one as clean and well-cared for as this one. Cozy historic home - super cute but with everything you need - comfortable beds, great shower with lots of hot water, excellent appliances, large TV with lots of streaming choices, well-stocked kitchen, good washer/dryer. Host is super responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the beach at Lake Lincoln in the nearby state park (15 mins) and the shops on the Main Street (historic buildings). Walmart was very close so shopping was convenient too. Truly an excellent week and we will absolutely return. Thank you!"

She herself detected that something was suffering from the summer heat, dust, and critters and immediately ensured someone promptly showed up to thoroughly clean. It was a grand and spacious old house that they are working hard to fully restore to its prior family-warm grandeur. It was neat to literally walk back through differing eras. If you love touching and tactilely experiencing history, this is definitely the place to experience it all the way back to the early 1900s."
