Our second stay was just as delighted as the first. The owners are very attentive to detail, cleanliness, responsiveness and friendly. Highly recommend.
Steps from the US Naval Academy main gate. Two minute walk to downtown Annapolis! Great home with everything you need! Two outdoor areas to relax. The upper deck has a terrific view of the USNA Chapel dome!
Would highly recommend this property. It is perfectly located within walking distance to all the sites, restaurants & shopping. We didn’t need to drive anywhere, which was a real plus during boat show weekend & the large crowds it brought in. Kathleen was an excellent host. The property was beautifully decorated & just as it appeared on the app.
Gorgeous, upscale historic home across the street from USNA could not be more comfortable and convenient. Luxurious amenities throughout and everything you need for preparing meals. Nothing has been overlooked in assuring that your time at this property is perfect. Communication with the owner was so helpful prior to arrival and throughout the trip! I can’t wait to come back!
Excellent stay as usual! We had a couple of people come over after the Parade of Lights and they commented how well appointed and decorated the house was!
This property was great for our USNA reunion. The location to both the academy and downtown is great! The property management team was attentive and responsive. The only issue was the parking, but given the location I think that’s expected. All in all it was a great place and we will try and stay again for our next trip to Annapolis!
The home is lovely with traditional decor and nautical touches. The bathrooms are modern and very clean. Loved the fluffy white towels. Bedrooms had comfortable beds/sheets. We hung our after long days of exploring in the comfortable third floor family room with TV and games, along with a small deck attached. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.
Not sure there is a better location or property in all of Annapolis. We’ve stayed at 6 properties across the city and this one is by far the best. Perfectly maintained and close to everything you want to down. Owners are fantastic and we can’t wait to book again. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
This lovely historic house is directly across from the Naval Academy while the shops and restaurants of Annapolis start a mere block away. The location couldn't be better or more convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the home, including comfy bedrooms, third floor great room, excellently appointed kitchen and top deck views. No car was needed. The host is very responsive and helpful. We look forward to calling this home again in the future.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. I can’t say enough good things about this property & Kathleen. Incredible location for anyone visiting USNA. Highly recommend!
Communicating with Kathleen prior to our stay was easy and she was extremely helpful. The location could not be better. My husband, another couple and I attended the Annapolis boat show. We were a block from one of the show’s entrances off the main square. We were able to easily walk downtown in the morning for coffees and we walked to dinner every night. During the boat show parking was difficult that Kathleen worked with us and our friends to make it easy.
The home itself was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Both bedrooms were large and bright and both had their own bathroom. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we spent a lot of time outside on the private back terrace. The house is even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures.
We hope to go back next year and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Kathleen!
From quick & accommodating communication to cleanest, beautifully outfitted town home, we were so impressed with our stay! Hats (covers) off to this property!! Thank you for an excellent experience.
The Gate House is the perfect location for events at USNA such as I-Day. Not only is the location great so is this house. It is very well appointed, spotlessly clean, and exceeded my expectations. We hope to stay again during our many future visits to Annapolis.
The host Kathleen is very responsive and answered any question I had immediately.
Close to everything, very clean and well decorated
The location of this house is great and you can walk anywhere easily. It was exceptionally clean and well decorated. All of the bedding was high quality and comfortable. Parking was a bit of a challenge but the owner was very helpful and responsive.
We had a fabulous stay in Annapolis at the beautiful place. The location was perfect & walkable and Kathleen was so helpful during our stay . . . would definitely recommend and come back for another stay!
