Difficult to give this a title
3 days prior to our arrival: NO access information. VRBO contacted Host. Information, in French, not English of earlier communications.
1. Enter the building using a code COMMENT: OK
2. Take Visitors elevator to the 1st floor. COMMENT: A GUEST CANNOT ACCESS THE ELEVATOR WITHOUT THE SECURITY FOB AND APARTMENT KEY. ARE THERE STEPS THAT CAN BE ACCESSED TO FLOOR 1?
3. Find the door Host’s name. COMMENT: Several doors on this floor. Perhaps directions for going Left or Right as one exits the “Visitors” Elevator
4. Find the lock box (location given), use code (communication) & open for apartment key with security fob & garage door opener. COMMENT: WHERE IS THE ENTRANCE TO THE GARAGE?
5. Asked Host to meet us. Had to request correct mobile number
6. The Host made it clear that he did not have time to do this. COMMENT: Without his arrival at the apartment, we would not have easily accessed the apartment nor would we have known where the parking garage entrance was located.
IINSIDE APARTMENT: Kitchen sink: used pod for coffee & an empty bottled water bottle. Few used sponges by the sink. Clean or dirty? Cleaning cloth squares in the laundry room, but still wet.
1. LACK OF emergency exit plan.
2. NO notebook with directions on how to use the appliances. Some info in French posted on the apart. door. Numbers to call for fire/police. Comments regarding damages & potential fees. Trash on level-1.
3. One couch had a broken arm.
