"We had a fabulous holiday while staying at the Gite. Ideal base for touring this side of Normandy. Such a pretty and quite place to stay. Fantastic dark sky above the Gite. Was very warm and cosy inside. Valerie is the perfect host, warm and friendly. Perfect welcome drink of home made Calvados. Gorgeous garden and sun trap. Beautiful friendly dog next door. If you want peace and lots of beautiful towns and beaches. This Gite is ideal for any family. We will be back. "

"A lovely property with a fantastic pool. The only slight disappointment was that the pool became unusable for 2 days because a chemical treatment, that should have been done before our arrival, was started on Tuesday afternoon."

"From start to finish the owner was amazing. Great communication and when we arrived check in was seamless. The house and grounds are nothing but amazing. "A surprise gem, slightly older hotel so unsure when we arrived but the staff are wonderful and the location is great, walkable (20mins down the hill and back up) to the town. A really pleasant stay."

"We traveled as a family group 6 adults and 2 children we were welcomed by David, great location so near the beach local seafood was excellent, we had a problem with a leak on the spa, contacted the host who came and repaired it, excellent service."

"A warm welcome awaited us upon arrival. The property, was as described however we were sorry to find that the sea view was now being built upon. Luckily the building work wasn’t too noisy and didn’t affect our enjoyment. Lovely comfortable beds. Lots of equipment within the property. Having the shade of the wooden structure in the back garden was welcome when very sunny and warm. The area in and around Agon-Coutainville is beautiful and people very friendly. Ideally for visiting the D Day beaches, memorials and museums and also Bayeux. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Lovely hosts."

"Our stay was perfectly fine. It was a little tighter spacewise than anticipated but we managed. Comfortable bed and good showering facility. Not much space to put anything and a bigger or another couple of towels would be an improvement. Staff were friendly and helpful and with their limited English and my limited French, we sorted everything!!"
